lool no, no sort of literature just experience.

I want to know for every people i ask who encounters these symptoms and how many of them notice these "symptoms" hence why i ask them as in my opinon its a key indication of whether you are balding or just natrual hair cycling shedding.

yes i agree there are many factors with these things - there is normal minor itching present on all scalps but then theres the itching with increased sebum output, it signals increased 5alpha reducatse/adnrogen activity.

You need to be able to differntiate between the two types if itching.

Well I definitely think there is a link between oily/itchy scalp and MPB, but I thought we were speaking strictly of the connection with Reflex An... people might misdiagnose themselves too quickly.

I'm all too familiar with the oily/itchy scalp. The introduction of hair loss was accompanied by oily hair, oily skin--> acne, and the itch. Rough few months lol, but its been handled for the most part with a medicated facial cleanser, tretinoin, and the big 3.

The MPB itch is definitely different from any other normal itch... it has a specific tingling to it if you ask me.

Reflex hyperandrogenicty and/or high androgen levels result in the same thing - an oily/itchy scalp <- this alone can tell you if you are combatting mpb with whatver supplement/pill you are taking or if its getting worser.

If you use those facial cleansers/shampoos etc they are only masking those symptoms hence, making it difficult for you to know if what your taking internally is actually balancing/lowering your androgen levels or increasing them (via reflex hyperandrogenecity)

I dont mean to freak anyone out - but from experience ive always assoicated an itchy/oily scalp with advancing damage to hairs.
