Very simple.

He initially wore a great deal of concealer to increase the appearance of any new hair via hair transplant in the initial stages as didn't want to be ridiculed by the media.

He needed it to be a success.

As his hair grew in, he used less and less and thats why his hair is no longer matted just thin.

Here in this article above it would appear he has not got any concealer in.. Maybe this is with concealer in too, who knows.

The media think its got thinner but in fact he is just using less or no concealer.

What Chrisdav said. Was pretty to clear to see he'd been using concealer. He needs another one or just shave the head if he can. By the looks of the donor after the FUE he is lucky enough that he can do so.

What I don't understand is why someone of such high profile is so poorly advised/educated on this topic? If he went to a top surgeon, he'd have a much better job done for a fraction of this price, so what gives? Do we just put it down to him being someone who just doesn't have access to the right info? Like 99% of other men in his position?

Money doesn't buy good advice apparently. He could use a smart friend to point him in the right direction, although in my experience even then people don't necessarily listen!

Sounds crazy, but has anyone thought about actually contacting the guy? God knows who's advising him. Probably a mate who saw an advert on TV.
