17 Years old, Losing hair (Update)

A couple of months ago I made a topic concerning my hair loss or paranoia of my hair loss. It can be found here: http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthr...6733#post46733

Today I have taken a few pictures of myself (with shorter hair) and am curious as to what people think and if hair loss has actually occurred or if I am just paranoid and this is a mature hair line.

Please note I do not find any hair on my pillow and to be honest I don't really know if hair has been lost or if this is just how its gonna be from now on.

Any and all comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry for the extreme photo size. Didn't know that would happen.

My hair is also semi-wet in these photos.

You're going bald. Get on Finasteride.

Yes, he can. And he should act now before it gets a lot worse!

Sorry bro but last time I checked the FDA stated you have to be 18 or older to get on it. DHT is pretty important during development stages of life but not as important when you are fully developed.

Keep taking pics say every 1-3 months and look for changes. Do you have older pics of the back? I ask because that could be perfectly normal for you, or could be very early start of vertex loss. If it is you will see it start to thin out on the right side and most likely spread over to the left. Again it may be nothing but keep an eye on it so you don't get caught off guard.

if you guys read the previous thread it also showed other pictures of my hairline and you will notice that it has not receeded any further. I was just worried that my crown was losing hair and obviously that is a stage of going bald.

My hairline has been at that stage for a while and it does not seem to be getting any worse. I also do not notice any hair on my pillow, in the sink etc. Should?

Here are two new pictures I took today. I will never take propecia as I have heard horrible, horrible stories about the side effects. If I truely am going bald at 17 years old I will just have to cop yet another horrible truth to how bad my genetics are and just keep on moving forward.

To me, it just looks like a normal crown...

If your hairline has not moved that is good. The only reason I mention your crown is because your hair looks very thick-above average- except for a slight area around the swirl. Also mine looked pretty close to that and my crown started sneaking up on me so don't want the same to happen to you.

If it is something, the good news is that area is easier to fix than the front and will respond to medication better.

Again, just take a look/picture every few months to be safe.

Dude, stop worrying you're not going bald, everyone has thinner hair around the crown, it looks perfectly normal to me, and i look up pictures of this sort of thing all the time, now go out there get some girls and come back and join the rest of us in 30 years when you actually are going bald!
