    I guess I'll carry on for another couple of months but I'll stop using it on my hairline as I think it's not doing any good there at all.

    Focus your application on your vertex and/or mid-anterior, whichever applies to your pattern of loss. You can dry the medicine off your fingers in your hair line if you want to. If you do decide to stop using Minoxidil, taper off of it slowly over time. Do not stop abruptly. Stopping this medication abruptly might cause a dramatic shed. So taper off slowly.
