Maybe it's just a matter of hair follicles no longer being able to survive? I wouldn't be surprised if people that age also have less hair than they did on their eyebrows, legs, arms, etc.

Yea that is true and there is a technical name for that type of loss...can't think of the name right now. But it's basically it's thining and yes they have that too. But look on TV, look around when you are out shopping, etc. Old people have patterns to their loss so that is why I think there is still genetics going on.
