    Default Different stages of growth

Quick question to any veterans of HT out there. I am approaching 6 months post op and things are coming along well. There are certain parts of the transplanted areas (mainly the more frontal areas) that have come in nicely, even portions of the crown have shown growth. On the areas in which scalp is still visible, it feels like there is stubble like I felt around 14-16 weeks. Could this just be the certain areas of the crown coming in at different times? It just seems odd that some of the other hair has grown for so long, and I am feeling stubble on the top of my crown. Anyone with any insight or knowledge that can reassure me? Thanks all.

    HL,

Don't sweat it. Growth times vary and crowns take longer to come it.

It takes 12 - 18 months to get fully grown through and mature

    Grow well!

It is not unordinary for the crown to regrow at a slower pace than the frontal zone. Some are of the opinion that the blood flow is not as rich in the crown area and therefore the transplanted follicles are a bit slower to reneter the growth phase.
