My advice to propecia users who quit
Dont quit because you think it's not working anyway.
I did for 6 months and it has never been the same since I started back on it.
Also .5 mill doesn't work anymore.
I have to start after 6 years at .5 to up it to 1.25 daily.
Lets hope I get a few more years of maintaining.
By the way Im 65.
I started taking propecia when I was 58 because of a bald spot in back.

How much regrowth did you originally get? Maybe you can do 1.25 till it kicks in then go back down ?

Is this a joke? You're combating your hairloss at 65? Jeez, if 65 year olds can't be content with appearing older, there is something seriously wrong with our society.

The truth is the truth.
Stay out my threads Im trying to help those that are old or young not to stop of they'll be sorry.
Some people look pretty good at 65.
Its nice to know that propecia works on older guys as well.
Your never too old to look better.
Also I noticed my prostate works a bit better.

I'm not tryin' to hate, man. You gotta admit, you got a little trolly there for a second a while back. I didn't know if you were done or not.
More power to you though. I actually agree. I'll do everything I can to look good until the day they put me in the ground. If it's workin' for you, rock on. And it's good to have people around here that are satisfied with fin but still come back to give advice.

Some of the younger guys seem to think that everything changes at 30 and you suddenly no longer care about your appearance or anything else. Guess they will have to find out for themselves!
Oh and the fin stops working, try avodart. My dad got a small spot around 70. His dr put him on Avodart for his prostate and his spot completely disappeared.

I don't mean to sound obnoxious and I get the whole argument that people want to look good at any age, etc etc....but some people don't even live till they are 70 even in the ''developed'' world.
If someone had a small bald spot at 70 no-one looking at him would care in the slightest!! I think at 70 if the only thing troubling my health enough that i'd have to go to the Dr's and get a get a prescription for was a small bald spot. Then I'd be a very very happy man.
