Post For Those on Watch, Hope Springs Eternal as Hair Trials Inch Along

Waiting for the biotech industry to advance new treatments for male pattern baldness (as well as female hair loss) might seem about as exciting as watching hair grow. But some people have a lot of skin in the game, if you know what I mean.

"Even if the company continues to show positive results, it will be years before Histogen could bring its HSC treatment to market."

    COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

I might as well just get a ****ing hair piece. By the time these treatments come out, I'll be a NW9000.

First off, I wanna let you know that I appreciate all the articles you post, gmonasco.

Second off, are they taking 2014 in Asia off the table now? Sounds like it. Guess I better stock up on enough head shaving supplies for until 2015.

What does that mean? Does it mean that it'll be for sale in 2015?

Or that the FDA will get of their lazy asses and consider it in 2015?

    ****.

    **** the FDA.

There will be a migration of desperate balding men to wherever they offer their procedure anyway.

"We hope to have an NDA [new drug application] filed in the U.S. or Asia before the end of 2015.

Early 2016 it will be released.

    nothing new under the sun

an optimistic approach is that Histogen will have an effective product on the market in around 3 years.

Replicel could well be 10 or more years if they get the funds to continue their research..

    Thumbs up

    keep up the spirit guys.

you all dont know the power of positive thoughts.
our very thoughts and words have huge energy.

I'm actually sure that if you think/speak each day very positively about your hair
    its condition will improve significantly.

Have you watched the national geographic documentary about a tribe that hadnt used a single tool to cut trees down.
They did it by shouting bad words at a tree for a few weeks - and tree would fall
    from "itself".

I'm saying - be positive goddamit!
So much talk on this forum has been about positivity, and yet each day we talk shit and piss here regularly.

We'll have a huge improvement in available treatments in 3 years. Maybe even a cure.

Therefore we are the luckiest generation in last 25 000 years.

I believe this is true. We're at a time when several breakthroughs in treatment for baldness are coming relatively soon. And competition should be fierce between them all.

Minoxidil and finasteride will hopefully be a thing of the past very soon and in replacement better treatments with no side affects and less maintenance, if not a cure.
