correct way to apply regaine foam?

I am just starting on regaine foam 5% and was wondering if there is any harm in using more than it states on the directions.

It says to use about half a cap full per application but as i have diffused thinning all over the top and crown this amount simply does not spread around the whole affected area.

I assume those guidelines are more about getting the bottle to last it's intended 1 month and not so much about potential side effects from over use.

to get the foam to all parts of my head i need to use about a cap and a half, has anyone heard of this causing any risks to your hair or health?

There is no point in using more medicine than directed. Using more will not improve the effectiveness but it can increase your chances of experiencing the possible negative side effects and it will waste money. You can save money by using generici liquid Minoxidil for your evening dose. Focus your application on your vertex and mid-anterior where the medicine can do the most good. Apply it while your hair is towel dry damp and part your hair where you need to apply it. Make sure you are getting the medicine onto your scalp where it needs to be. You can dry the medicine off your fingers in your hair line if you want to. Then wash your hands thoroughly.
