Have started Toco-8 first to see if that makes any difference. Will try the PGD2 blockers later (i.e. 5-6 months time) if Toco has no effect.

ok, plz let us know if toco-8 does anything

The Facts:
THE GOOD
It is a great discovery, and could definitely be used in combination with other prostaglandin treatments aka bimatoprost
Many drugs (asthma) blocking the certain receptor are in Phase 3
FDA approval would be quicker for this mpb treatment
THE BAD
It will still have to go through clinical trials
It will take much longer than 2 years (atleast 5-6 yrs), that is just hilariously unrealistic, i cant believe news companies would even report that
I hate to be negative, but im just being realistic. It would be worse for everyone to think this will actually be available in 2 yrs and be dissapointed

Just say that you have a cure for balding out in a few years and you will be world celeb. No way this will cure us in 2 years!

Lol, no way this will cure us in 2 years? They found the cause of MPB.. it's coming soon because a drug is already approved with same protein inhibitor.
This forum is toxic.. they find the cure and people still find a way to complain.

Do you really know that this will cure us? Were is the prof?

A "cure" would prevent it from ever coming back.
I'm in the camp that is quite hopeful, but also recognizes if it is successful, it will simply supplant rogaine and/or fin and still be a daily, maybe weekly, application.

Which isnt a big deal really. If I had to do it weekly or whatever just to keep my hair, I definitely would. I already do!

To me is a cure when you can stop and in some way restore some of the hair you lost even if it´s a daly use!
-
If it were to work and become a daily treatment I would not consider it a cure as it simply is as mentioned above... a treatment option.
A cure to me would be the resumption of a normal life but as far as things go if this discovery were to yield a vastly better product than the current options at a more safe and sustainable level then I would not fault it.
I guess time will tell what this may lead to.
