Default Someone who is already at increased risk for testicular cancer

Hi, finally got my prescription for Propecia(still not 100% on actually going out and taking it though, such is the life of the indecisive). But after casually talking to my mom about the drug and possible side effects(she's a nurse) she told me to be careful because when i was born I was very premature, 34 weeks and about 5Lbs. I also had an un-descended testicle which puts me at increase risk of testicular cancer (1 in 250 as apposed to 1 in 2000 or something like that) This has me once again asking more and more questions, like uh oh maybe I shouldn't risk it, could this be a pre existing thing that might not get along well with other drugs that affect my junk? Does Propecia effect the testes at all like it does the prostate?

If anyone wants to weigh in I'd greatly appreciate it. Man I wish choices like this could just be made easily!
