It depends on how badly your hair loss is affecting your life.
If it is seriously affecting you and you have Body Dysmorphic Disorder then it may be worthwhile. There are also medications for BDD that work pretty well in most people.
My advice (and this goes for anyone here), before you start spending money on a therapist, is to buy or borrow from the library a book called "The Broken Mirror" by Katharine A. Phillips, which is a great book on BDD.
