    Smile Newbie

Hi guys - i could go on forever but il keep it short and simple.

I beleive i have been losing hair and it has been thinning for years now, im 26 and have tried all sorts, not much seems to work, would it be possible for me to post a picture for you guys so you may be able to look at my scalp and put it into some sort of perspective for me as, as you know, hair loss is personal and its hard to speak to a gf, friends or family about it and it can get me very very down.

    Hi to everyone

    Default Good pix Ktw

You may have some mild thinning, but that may be natural to maturing and not necessarily MPB. I can see that your frontal hair is ABUNDANT. Keep in mind that everyone experiences a natural thinning overall as we get older. Your 26 now and i believe you have nothing to really worry about. Theoretically lets say that you DO have the beginnings of MPB . With today's medical technology being what it is,I don't feel that you will EVER experience reaching a bald state of existence. Even if a 'cure' is 10-15 years down the road. Which i don't believe is true. In recent times we will be introduced to VIABLE treatments for hair loss which will only progress to the nth degree .

    Default Thanx for the reply

    Thanks for the reply,

My hair line isnt too bad, but its the rest of my hair, when i look, my scalp is very shiny and also each follicle is ALOT thinner than before, plus i had a buzz cut, and this just highlights my thinning areas, some parts are thicker than others, but i seem to have these little black plugs on the base of my hair on my scalp.

Default Understood, still i believe it may be a mere thinning ---

due to maturing. Observe guys around you at approx the same age and older with buzz cuts and you may see the same or more. Keep this in mind, you are FOCUSING on it. It is becoming a primary concern to you. Maybe grow your hair out for a while. Take your internal attention off of it for now. Based on the photos, i don't think other people are really looking at your head and thinking that you are going to be bald. Remember my last comment ,,even if your may be on the MPB path, you will not go the whole route. Treatments are coming our way.

Default Right on Ktw & your welcomed..

I do empathize as do everyone else here. Put any worries you have right now to rest. Stay away from the buzz cuts for a little while only to ease your mind. I don't think anyone around you is focusing in on your hair and thinking the worst but i understand your anxiety over it.
