Thankfully by the grace of God, and my understanding of PCT treatment, my side effects diminished . Some men can take it, some cannot... its that simple....
I still don't feel back to normal after more than a month off it. I'm ok, but not where I used to be in terms of sex drive, sensitivity etc.

What's PCT treatment, stylus? Any tips for me to sort this out?

I get annoyed when I see people stating that side effects only occur with a small minority of men and/or it's mostly psychological. If you've had side effects, you know that it has to be a hormonal consequence of taking this drug and that no amount of scare-mongering comments on a forum can break your dick to that extent.

Regarding the number of men it affects - totally up for debate, though it's most certainly higher than the 2% (placebo) figure that is often quoted. If the number affected was even 5%, it's significant enough to completely change how the drug is being marketed and prescribed right now.

It's a matter of time before something changes.

You need to introduce testosterone in very low dosages. AndroGel, 1x per day for 2 weeks, then 2x per day for a few weeks, then back down to 1x every other day!! Your balls will return, as well as Erection quality!! I even used Viagra for a month straight just to send strong blood flow back to my penis. Im not a DR. All I can say is, this worked miracles for me!!!! Guys, when you lose dht, you are gonna suffer from depression. DHT, is more important then test alone.. You are stealing the 1 main chemical that makes you a man, not a pre adolescent child!!! I do this for a living, Google my sign on name... I have over 3,000 post on the bb boards, You can learn alot, if you search!! God bless you, and your recovery.. BTW, it took about 3 to 4 months for me to feel normal again!!! HGH also helped me recover!! IM just being honest!!!

How long would I need to take Androgel for? Think I'll give things awhile before I start experimenting again. I feel like I've treated my body like a laboratory.

It depends, I can tell you right now I guarantee your test levels are way below 300. I cant give you an exact time frame, it depends on how your body reacts. Make a Drs. appointment, the sooner the better!!!! 2 options mediocre growth from propecia, with a broken penis, or having a penis that works, and hope for a dif treatment approach.

If your scared of any new chemicals into your body, I completely understand. You forget, your penis can be exercised... I know it sounds odd, but you need to learn to start squeezing blood back down there. Bro, I'm telling you, even a mild dose of 25mgs of Viagra, strictly to send "strong"flow of blood back to your penis. The sensitivity issue sucks.. I know exactly what you mean. I wont sugarcoat an answer. That might take up to 6 months or longer to return. Im not saying it will take you that long. I ran my PCT and can remember feeling like a MAN again at about 3 or 4 months, give or take. BTW just for food for thought, I never remember having shed issues coming off or starting the med. My body knew what the problem was. Propecia is too dangerous in the long scheme of life..... Im not a horror story type of guy. I only share what Ive been through, and other men that I know. I do not claim that Im correct on any of this. I can once again repeat myself... "It worked for me"!!! my PCT protocol.. I believe if more men would speak honestly to the Drs, instead of waiting 2 years later due to being embarrassed, might have been able to stop sexual side effects that last forever!! I have one friend who has been on it for over 8 years. The dude who is 38, does not get any side effects at all. He doses .5 every other day. Some men can use this drug, some cannot!!

I might try some viagra yeah though I'm popping boners ok now. The biggest change I've noticed (if you can excuse my graphic detail) is my amount of semen is much reduced. Some may think it's a non-issue, but it's a very real change and it does bother me. Something like that cannot be "in my head" either. It's a very real and physical observation.

What would you say about trying finasteride again at a lower dose? I tried 1.25mg but curious if 0.25mg might work without side effects.

Is is possible that you are masturbating excessively just to see if you are functioning normally? Maybe this is why you think you have less ejaculent? Take a few days off and see what happens.

Watery Semen, I had the same thing!!1 Honestly, no I would never put that shit in my body again. Dude, just think, if I got back on meds, and suffered permanent side effects. My sex life is healthy again, Im not risking that for any hairline, or minor hair loss. BTW IM only a nw2 at most!!!! Im just very particular about my appearance. At 34, Im not risking that option.

IF i were to take Fin, and still had the ability to pop a boner, but with less ejaculate - i think i'd be ok with that. I'm not bothered if i don't make the 'money shot'

I would however be bothered if my penis atrophied, shrunk, went distorted as i have read about countless times on Propecia help.

Not to mention Gyno, Mental distress, brain fog - those thing's are what would seriously bother me.

I thought finasteride was associated with side effects, but I guess I can't discount Nizoral or minoxidil.
Nizoral is just an anti dandruff shampoo isn't it?

Yeah I'm thinking along similar lines. Minoxidil is doing a good job at restoring my hairline anyway, and since I don't have problems at the crown maybe that will be enough for me.

Yes it's anti-dandruff but it's also recommended as part of the 'big 3' because it can apparently block DHT in the scalp (or something). It may play some other role in improving the hair itself, but it's not been studied properly.
