I only used the 1%, about every other day but sometimes two days in a row. The testicular pain only occurred when I used it two days in row, which spurned me to stop.

Every other day is too often. You should not use 1% Nizoral more than twice per week unless a doctor specifically told you to use it more often than that. You should not use 2% Nizoral more than once per week unless a doctor has specifically instructed you to use it more often.

Do guys just never read the included information on how to use medications properly?

No it doesn't. Read it again. It says "Use every 3 to 4 days for up to eight weeks or as directed by a doctor". That does not mean 3 to 4 times per week.

Nizarol is a very weak anti DHT agent, if it can even be considered one.

Sometimes stress or nerves can cause erection issues. Nizarol does very little for hair loss.

Now, if someone has dandruff, that's a different story.
