Are you still taking Fin?

I stopped taking finasteride in January when side effects overwhelmed me. I haven't touched it since despite still having a couple months' supply in my drawer. I did plan to go back onto it at a lower dose when side effects abated, but I'm still waiting. Because of this I now regard finasteride as toxic, at least to me, and will not go near it ever again.

I'm also dealing with this mate. Have you tried any kind of treatments?

Not yet. Someone in the chatroom of baldtruthtalk on Sunday mentioned something that may help. I asked him to email me more info but haven't heard anything yet. I think he was called gary. I think trying to detox might be an idea and getting healthy and fit - give the body a chance at getting back to normal.
I should probably see a doctor but I fear they'll be of little help.

What was your experience exactly by the way?
I thought my sides were disappearing a few weeks ago but I've deteriorated again since. I just hope things will go back to normal in time, but it's been over 3 months now.

Its only worth using minox if you have a shaved head like me....
I did use it years ago for like a week when I had longer hair and yes it just greases up your hair.
Do I expect to see any results....no...but its my one of 2 ONLY options.

I don't understand the reasons behind wanting to go through THIS Routine for a lovely 'maybe' full Head off Greasy, Horrible feeling Hair for the rest of YOUR LIFE?!?
Obviously you know next to nothing about hereditary hair loss or using Minoxidil. You have a lot to learn.

Because it works for most people who use it properly. I works for me.

If you had bothered to take the time to learn what you need to know about hereditary hair loss and how it needs to be treated, you would see that your uninformed comments here are pretty moot.
Using Minoxidl properly is not even close to being as much of a pain in the butt that you are making it out to be. When using the foam, other people cannot even tell you are treating your hair loss.

I took it for 10 years and started developing side effects slowly up to a complete impotence from the last several months, now it's a total ED. Can't get it hard easily, and never hard enough for penetration, and it don't stay hard for more than 2 seconds, 1/10 libido.

I heard you are afraid of going to a doc, i went to one, and he laughed at me when i told him about the post finasteride syndrome. We did blood work, the only problem i had was that my free T was a bit lower than baseline, he said to work out, exercise, eat healthy, practice more sex, and gave me Viagra.
I told him, I shouldn't be taking it at my age, he told me to do so cos Viagra might help to get back on track, i will do so after i start dating again. But i won't stop there. I will go to other doctors, orthomolecular medicine doctors for other natural treatments. The only thing i have done so far is to eat healthy and supplements, i will start exercise next month.

I'm sorry to read that. I guess is more difficult to stop taking it when you're doing it for so many years without problems.
I'm planning going to te urologist too. Iv'e been off for almost 4 months and still dealing with it.
I stoped using minox too because using it daily could be irritating and I felt my head burned.
