Am 26, experiencing thinning and loss of hair on the crown
Hi All,
Am kavi, 26 and been experiencing thinning and lost of hair for probably around one and half year now on the crown.
I have just started a regimen of:
1. Rene Furterer Triphasic Serum
2. Alpecin C1
3. Groganics
4. Revivogen Bio-Cleansing Shampoo
I am also planning to use 5% Minoxidil, but I have not received the delivery of the product yet.
Two pictures on the left: 1.5 month into treatment
Two pictures on the right: Before Treatment
I also allow my hair to rest and use only coconut twice a week.

Hi w_kavi,
I think it is great that you've decided to do something about your hair loss if it bothers you. However Mr. Spex is right. There is nothing in your current regimen that will actually help you. If your hair loss bothers you enough to want to do something about it, it is best to stick with treatments that are proven to work.

Note that the 'big 3' or 'proven 3' can carry serious side effects, do not work with everyone, require lifetime usage and costs. If they were truly so proven or big, without serious risks.. then all of us would be on them. Browse the forum, even here you will found a very good number of those who have quit due to side effects or lack of results.

This is in large part the result of the efforts of fear mongers like you.

Stressed to the Bald, that is a very negative approach to take.
Any negative side effects experienced are from the extreme minority and not the majority.

Its an honest approach. Even FDA has upgraded warning and risks labels - surely for a reason.. even doctors have to explain the seriousness of the risks - surely for a reason.. Whoever wishes to gamble, should be aware what the stakes are - and that they might end up on the loosing side.
5-20% of potential side effects is not that an extreme minority to me. Plenty enough, even on this forum have quit the drug due to side effects.

Don't let the fear mongers scare you. Propecia is a very safe drug. Call the show tonight and get the best advice. Spex is a very reliable source in the hair loss community. You already got advice from a expert in hair loss. I wish I hadn't listened to the fear mongers. I've been on the drug for a year and a half.

And where does it state 5 to 20 %?

Here is the clinical trial results. 5%-20% is wrong. Don't listen to these fear mongers. That's all they are! There not doctors! http://www.drugs.com/sfx/propecia-side-effects.html
