How far along is too far gone?
I am curious, how far along is "too far gone" for the existing hairloss treatments to really be successful?

Any areas of your scalp that are slick bald void of hair and have been that way for a long time are too far gone for any of the current treatments to have any effect.
It's not just about how much hair you have lost, it is also about how long it has been gone. The longer hair has been gone from an area, the less likely that anything can stimulate it to grow back.

Dr Representative
Treatments can help strengthen the donor hair so its a case of what the individual wants to achieve personally.
If they are seriously considering a HT then the treatments are still advisable in my opinion to strengthen the donor region if nothing else can be salvaged on top due to "too far gone"
