Default Update- what do you all think? Thinning or balding?

I originally posted on here and wasn't sure if I had thinning or balding going on. Dr. Charles said it had to do with my cowlick which I agree. I just got my haircut today and just not sure, here's 4 new pics if you don't mind. I mentioned Rogaine to my stylist today and he thought I was insane. Would you all do anything about this, like actually using Rogaine? Thank you again. Again, 37 yrs. old and currently not taking anything.

That last photo, near the top where it's kind of a darker reddish area, is that indeed possible thinning or is that I don't know what thinning is?

Dr Charles is right, it's a cowlick. Around that area - hair is normally thinner due to the swirl.

You are 37 years old, if you were going bald it would have happened by now.

It also looks like a cow lick to me. I would not start to use rogaine/regaine now as it would create an initial shed, which would freak you out and you are not even sure you need it.

Same time I do not agree with a comment further up, just because you have not thinned earlier, you could easily start now. Many people have a full head of hair and slowly start loosing hair in their late thirties or forties, this is not to make you paranoid (as I think you are not thinning), but it means you should have a look from time to time, and if things change, be quickly to react....

Get off the forum for now, you really should enjoy life - as you have nothing to worry about, and then come back in a year with new pictures - if you feel worried at that time...

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll just watch it once in a while and if it seems to do anything, I'll check out Rogaine. And yeah, I just cannot comprehend it but I guess that cowlick is just controlling things back there. Thanks again for your comments everyone and good luck.
