Hi guys,
I feel I've had acceptable results fighting hair loss, and figured I'd share my regimen.
I took Propecia for ten years (stopped recently due to sides)
For three years, I've used Rogaine foam.
For three years, I've used Nizoral.
Also essential to my program are Country Life Maxi-Hair vitamins (these have thickened my hair and given it a healthier appearance; it also grows faster).
I use hair-thickening shampoos like Thicker Fuller Hair, Progaine, and Vive for thinnng hair. I've found that my hair seems to "get used to" these shampoos, so I switch them periodically, and the volumizing effect increases.
My hair falls into the ultra-fine Sting/Jack Nicholson catagory. I use a heavy stylying gel, then a dash of Toppix/Fusion hair fibers for volume, and I spray it with Thicker Fuller hair spray. This greatly improves the appearance.
also, I have an inversion table and hang upside down to increase bloodflow to scalp (I do this for my back, but I feel it can't hurt my scalp).
Finally, I've found the that when I've binged on starchy foods, my shedding increases. Eating lean protein and live enzymes seems to help my hair.
Just thought I'd share. We'll see where all this goes, now that I'm off Propecia.
