    I think the answer is 2,500 gratfs per procedure with at least 12 to 18 months between each procedure is the safest. I know some surgeons will do much larger procedures on candidates who can support such large counts. Personally, I would not be comfortable with having a procedure larger than 2,500 grafts.

    Typically, most men can donate 2500 to 3200 grafts with a first transplant procedure, and another 2200 or so with a second.
