I still fail to understand why. Some evolutionary theories consider baldness might be the sign of our maturity, as if we were more mature than people will full set of hairs. What a load of b.... I bet none of us feels more mature, more miserable is the better description !

I wonder if it helps to add that my head now has this white gunky substance that also builds up 24 hours after a wash, also with massive dandruff. And I shed close to 50 eyebrow hairs a day (they seem a little thinner also). This I may just go see another derm in another city.

Funny thing is I would say the balding thing matured me, before I was probably the least mature person out of anyone I knew.

Now, well, a lot has changed. As you say, more miserable and lot less happy go lucky than before. Sigh.

Have the same thing. I believe it is Seborrhoeic dermatitis. but I still need to confirm that. I buzzed my hair really short, so it went away. However my temples have really low density... So I have mpb too....
