Propecia/Regain Question

Ok! So I am aware that any benefits that are gained from prepecia will be lost if one stops taking. I am also aware that the same applys for Regain.

My question is??? If I Take Propecia to save what hair I have left and then regain to gain a little more. Once the extra is gained can I drop the regain due to the fact that propecia keeps what you have??

P.S - How much more effective is the combo as oppose to just one. Personal accounts would be much appreciated as oppose to pure theory.
