Why does taking something from the lab to clinic take decades ? I could be sarcastic and say - 'Hire a delivery guy, it will be there in 20 minutes'. Once again, no one's in a hurry cause all are doing fine and profitable, all except us with the balding problem.

By lab, he most likely means the research stage, which in that case, is true since a treatment then has to go through a trial process after the research stage.

Though I find it odd he would say there is no potential treatment coming along considering how there is already like 3 in the trial process.
