Losing hair at sides of head (pic)

I hope to death this is temporary. If not, what's going on here and what's the best treatment?

It's happening more on my left side than on my right, too. My age is 20.

it looks like nothing to me. you are fine.

If you can pull your hair out easily without any pain then thats a sign your hair is weak and possibly falling out.

I don't want to ring false alarm but mine kinda happend the same way.
One small spot at the left side which very slowly got bigger over a course of 7 months, untill 9 months later I suddenly found a small one on the right as well.

I'd keep a close eye on it. It starts different with each person.

Was it specifically a spot, or a line such as in my pic? And you mean it increased in diameter?

If it's bothering you then see a dermo - if its just a spot of hair loss then its obviously not MPB - MPB is 'pattern hairloss' and although the beginnings of crown loss can make lines in which hair appears thinner you can't always assume this is MPB.

A pull test is a good method (google it) and also your rate of shedding in the shower - if you wash your hair and pull away 20 - 30 hairs your probably entering the early stages of MPB.
