Infrared vs. laser light for hair loss

Does anyone know if cheap massagers with built in infrared light therapy could do any good for hair loss ? You've all probably heard of that laser comb and stuff, which is still high priced, some praise it, others dispute it.. Essentially I'm interested in comparisons, if infrared can be beneficial comparing to laser.
