I am new to this as a poster but I have been following the posts in my hair loss research.
I am currently 27 years old.
My hairloss started back in varsity with a receding hairline and crown thinning. I was 21 at the time.
As I started working I started going for treatment with laser therapy, saw palmetto and minoxidil. In the first year of the treatment results were great.
However after that the results started to wear off.
I decided on a more effective form of treatment with a hair transplant. This was after progressing through the NW stages and had complete diffuse thinning on top with a completely bald crown.
This year I went for my first hair transplant at Dr A's clinic in New Delhi in India.
6100 grafts. From this about 3400 was from a strip and the remainder through Beard grafts and FUE from my head.
This was done on 5,6 and 7 December 2011.
I will post up before pics soon as well as the surgical pics.
Wish me luck on my growth. 2 weeks down so far and I have not experienced shedding as yet. I have been removing the crusting slowly with a sponge when I bathe.
