    Heart Broken...

I've had 2500 FUE surgery this past weekend.

Unfortunately, my girlfriend, whom I was going to propose to, decided to end it the day after.

I have been depressed and have not been eating too well; a poor diet to say the least.

Will this emotional trauma cause any damage to the grafts?

    Many thanks.

Sorry to hear that man. When you suddenly get a procedure done that you think is going to make your life so much better another part suddenly changes.

If she isn't there to support you through your FUE then she just wasn't the right person for you. I have heard many stories of guys getting HTs done and having their gfs with them by their side. If this woman couldn't do the same for you then that isn't somebody I would want to be with for the rest of my life.

I wish you all the best in your recovery and may your hairs prosper!

      Mobius,

Sorry to hear about the breakup. You did the procedure for your own personal reasons and yet many may think we do it because we are vain. Very few people with out hairloss understand the psychological impact that it can have on an individual.

Just don't let this event or any other to allow you to stress out.

You"ll be fine friend, you"ll see.

Happy growth to you. And who knows, when everything grows out, she may just like you new look!
