FUE and Micropigmentation combo?

I have been looking at FUE and micropigmentation options quite extensively lately online. My question is why can't you combine the two to get the best result. My thought is that instead of having the micropigmentation on the top of the head why not transplant all of the still remaining follicles to the top of the head and then micropigment the donor areas? I know I am making this sound extreme but I think a good mix of these two options could have a positive result. Let's say you could take the donor are down to 25-35% hair and then pigment the rest. You then style your hair with a buzz fade. When I look at the back of my head I have enough hair to cover my entire scalp! Wouldn't it be better to transplant the vast majority of this hair and micropigment the donor are that was extracted!

I have a similar plan. Posted my surgery yesterday. Used graphs and will very likely need micropigmentation for the remainder, would like to leave hair as short as possible.
