can the strip method be done VERTICALY?
iv had a vertical scar on the back of my head/neck from a brain tumour since i was five. it doesnt bother me, and neither does the other scar (from a car crash). infact i think they look pretty cool.
so can the strip method could be done verticaly?
ie just make the scar iv got on the back of my head a little wider/longer seeing as iv got a scar there anyway and no one would notice if it got a touch wider. then transplant on to my hairline to lower it.

When they take the strip, they need to take it from the area that is resistant to DHT. So that means they have to take it side to side from ear to ear.
Since you shave your had anyways, why not go for FUE harvesting rather than strip harvsting? Just make sure to chose an IAHRS doctor who uses ACell in the little holes made during harvesting. If ACell actually does work, there should be very little scarring in those holes.

As Tracy says, the hairs using during hair transplantation need to be taken from the safe area. To take a vertical strip and keep within this area would result in a very short strip and a small number of grafts.

Many men with high level of testosteron have such problem with their hair. But it's much better to have no hair but enough testosteron that to have beautiful hair and a low level of testosteron!

Says who ? What makes you think it is better and what makes you think all men share your opinion? There are men who'd do anything to lower their testo. level. Life isn't all about sex.
