How docs determine HT yield %?
Hi
I was always confused about this matter.
We all heard from our HT docs that they guarentee at least 90% or 95% of transplanted hair that will grow, most of them would use these numbers for some reason.
Now, it sounds great when you look at these numbers but Id like you to think about it for a moment.
Lets say patient has 10 000 grafts implanted by certain surgeon and 12 months down the track he goes back to doc saying he isnt happy with density and believes that 10 000 grafts didnt grow.
How would surgeon prove that 10 000 or 9 000 are growing on his head?
is there any counting method that most top HT docs use ?
Doc can always use that old cliche that results vary from patient to patient due to hair caliber, color, scalp contrast etc etc, i think its just cheap way out and patient should be given more rights
Where does that leave patient, what can be done to resolve issue if there is dissagrement? Does it happen often and we dont hear about it because of legal disclaimers etc?
I also noticed how clinics always want us to see their top results but you never get to see mediocre or poor ones?
It would be beneficial for patients that clinics start showing thier worst results, so prospective patients can see how they could end up in wrst case scenario?

lol.............ain't gonna happen
It would be like saying " this is how you will look if I f*ck up and if I do, sorry there's nothing I can do for you but have another HT to try and fix the mess I created "
