Just Completed FUE, 400 Grafts, Today...
And everything seems to be fine thus far.
Grafts are placed just where I want them.
Filling out my hairline that never was.
I didn't experience hair loss (Although I can't predict the future...) But there's no family history of it in my family.
I just always had an uneven hairline that was a half moon, since birth. Never liked it.
Well today, I received a full moon hairline. Very pleased.
BUT. It is still day one... and I will have to see what happens...
The grafts are not a problem, so far...
But how long does the donor area takes to heal with FUE?
It's so hard to sleep with my donor area bleeding every now and again. It's been 5 hours since operation.

Try to get the answers from your doctor. Mail, call or visit him. Who was your doctor by the way?
A good FUE surgery will leave you with nicely healed scars in 3-5 days (but large improvement already after 24 hours) and we have seen photos on here where its hard to see that you had an operation after app 5-7 days in the donor area - even when shaved completely down.
How is the recipient area doing as this is usually where the evidence stays for 1-2 weeks at least?
Did you get the HT in an area where there never was hair before?
Are you on meds?
Good luck.

Hey! I asked the doctor! Lol. He told me by 24 hours, it should be well on it's way. But there's nothing like hearing it from someone who has actually gone through it. Lol.
I got the grafts place where hair NEVER was before. And in that area, everything is smooth. No blood, etc. I have darker skin, so you can't see it really at all from far away.
I'm just a little anxious about my donor area. Lol. I want my hair to grow back already and heal completely lolol. I don't wanna wear a hat lol. I did FUE and it is healing pretty quickly.
I did the procedure in New York. Doctor True. True and his crew is amazing.
But it is still so early to tell what the outcome will be, but I was told that I will have about 100% success because of my hair type and how everything worked out during surgery. BUT, time will tell.
It's only been 14 hours since surgery... lol.

Hi 17, congrats on the HT. Any pics?

Congratulations. With darker skin tone and only 400 FUE you should have no evidence of surgery before the week is up.

Thank you, Jotronic!
My biggest problem has been trying to hide it from family.
I can't seem to find any peace!
I did this without telling anyone...
And it's been a challenge hiding it.
Wearing a hat inside the house is a tricky thing to do - But I'm trying to work with it.
