Second opinion please
I'm 17 and have been experiencing pretty aggressive hair loss for the past year. I started on regaine a couple of months ago for my receding hairline and have seen some regrowth and I'm just waiting on those hairs to thicken out. However , over the past month I've noticed that my hair is really thin all over, and its getting pretty hard to disguise. This has made me think whether it would be a good idea to shave my head and apply the regaine all over. I would just like to know from some of the more experienced guys here if they've tried it before or if you think it would work or not.
My thinking was that as I have had pretty good results on my hairline, my hair should grow in again as the regaine takes effect, disguising my hair loss.
Thanks in advance
Yoespero.

The main thing that stops people shaving their head is not being comfortable with how they look, so if you're happy to buzz down then there's no reason not to. Rogaine is easier to apply when there's less hair to get in the way.

The only way to know if you are going to like the way you look with a shaved head is to try it. You never know it may turn out that it looks great and you just keep it that way. If not, let it grow back and go to town with the Rogaine. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for the responses. I don't think I'd feel to insecure about having a shaved head, especially if it just seems like a personal choice. Though I'll probably leave it until summer just in case it doesn't turn out how I wanted it.
