DON"T SCRATCH!
The numbness can take a long time to go away. I don't remember how long it lasted with my first transplant but it was much longer with my second transplant. I felt like I was wearing a hat that I couldn't take off for five months. It didn't fade away. It just went away all at once. I just woke up one morning and my scalp was back to normal.
