I recommend not trying fin or dut, try out niz and rogaine. The effectiveness varies for everyone, for some people it may work all over, for other it may not work at all (rogaine).

I am also a norwood 2 and young, and we should consider ourselves "lucky" as effective treatments seem to be on the horizon (histogen, replicel, follica, aderans, gho... and other private companies) as well as interim treatments (astressin-B, lattise).

I bought Men's Rogaine Foam only to find out that after reading the material provided with it that it does not work on temple receding.

The makers of Rogaine cannot claim Minoxidil works anywhere other than the crown (vertex) - because the study they submitted to gain FDA approval only included the crown. Therefore they can only officially make the claim that Minoxidil can regrow hair on the crown. It is now known that Minoxidil can work in varying degrees everywhere there is still some hair. It will not work anywhere that is totally void of hair.

If you still have some velus hair there, Minoxidil might work to some extent. If that area is totally bald, nothing willl make that lost hair grow back.

Whatever you decide to do, at the very least start using Nizoral shampoo twice a week. Make sure to use a good quality moisturizing conditioner as well.
