I feel for you buddy!!! 17 is no age to be dealing with hairloss. I don't know if you could be prescribed Propecia being that your under 18?
The good news is by the time your my age "they" have hopefully found some sort of cure for male pattern baldness!

I assume you suffer side effects from propecia?

How can you attribute this directly to Finasteride?
Also how old are you?

Younger than 25. How can i attribute it to finasteride?
Well, i was a perfectly healthy, very horny, 5 times a day kind of guy until 18 when i took finasteride. After a few months of using finasteride i got watery semen and ball ache. I went to a doctor who told me that anti androgens are a bad idea and quit the drug. Approximately a month later, i crashed.
I now deal with horrific symptoms such as complete ED, 0 libido, memory loss, weak joints and depression. Basically all the symptoms of androgen insufficiency, which are no joke.

I don't want to diminish your side effects. But here is some information about Propecia for those who are interested in a balanced view.
http://www.belgraviacentre.com/blog/...-side-effects/
There are no drugs put there that have zero side effects (positive or negative). The majority of people can eat nuts but there are some who are allergic and have negative reaction.
In an idea world of course I would prefer not to be taking Propecia. But in reality Propecia blocks about 70% of DHT. Dutasteride blocks about 90% of DHT.

Three months to the day since I started minoxidil to my temples and I couldn't be happier!
My hairline is filling in nicely!!!
I will continue taking pictures every three weeks over the next year to monitor progress.
