how long after a HT does the implanted hair usually fall out?

i had a HT 3 weeks ago. 80-90 percent of the implanted hair is standing. I've been keeping it real short - 3mm. it seems the implanted hair has gotten thinner than it was before, but it seems to be growing ..
possible?
