Taking the plunge; My Finasteride Progress

No morning erections, though erections still very much present when aroused.

Urine passage is slightly "tighter", cant think of a word to use for it.

I seem to be tired even after a good amount of sleep, but I doubt this has anything to do with fin.

Mentally all seems fine (thank god)

It has been over 5 weeks now. I can say there has been a lot more shedding than there used to be pre-finasteride.

No sides thus far, although the area beneath my testicles seem to throb sometimes. No pain or whatever, it's just a twitching sensation. Should I be worried?

I've been on it for 3 weeks now, no sides as of yet. Seen a lot more shedding than before I started.

Keep us updated on your shedding phase, I'm hoping mine would completely stop soon.

I am slightly worried but sexual function is 95% as before. I hope it stays that way.



I know it takes many months for finasteride to regrow hair, but does anybody know if finasteride "maintains" from the first pill?

I wonder the same. Does it take 8 months before it actually halts or slows hair loss?

I've been taking it for 8 months now and I think it's slowed my hairloss but I really don't know. Results on the drug are very subtle, unlike Regaine.

Experienced some side effects. At the start I noticed erections weren't as strong as before but that gradually corrected itself after 4 weeks. A few days ago i took a pill on one of my "off" days (I forgot if I had already took one or not) and just last night experienced a side effect where my ejaculation was WEAK.

- Thankfully erection is still strong though, it's just, and I try to be as vague as possible when i say this, the 'source of life' fluid does not shoot far anymore, not even close to before... more like drips.

are you using minoxidil as well or just the fin?

just fin and nizoral (once a week)
