Default 30 : Thinning, Balding, Shedding (NO EJAC CAMPGAIN)

I've been on various boards like most and felt like this place would be one of the best. Here's my situation.

    Age: 30 Years Old

    Problem:
-Shed at 2-3 inches of hair length. I'll occasionally see 1-2 inch hair fall out. But most of all, I have lost density and looking at my high school pictures, I can't seem to grow my hair out as long as before (roughly 5-6 inches) before genetic disposition.

    Hereditary:
My mom has full head of hair. My dad was essentially the dominating gene, so I suspect I will follow him. He doesn't bald, but has thinned out a lot, still has length though.

    Ejac:
Frequent and often.Every day, sometimes 2x a day on weekends.

    Diet:
Eats everything and anything. I don't drink soda, but I binge drink alcohol on weekends.

    Exercise:
I play sports 2-3x a week, rigorous cardio.

    Tried Treatments:
I have tried minox, but it left my scalp red. I've tried DHT inhibitor products, but they didn't do much. I've tried rogaine, but not on a consistent basis. I however no longer use any hair styling products. Oddly when I was younger, I used an array, but my hair was stronger back then.

    Plan:
I think a lot has to do w/ hormone levels, drinking and my ejac frequency. I have noticed that my hair just isn't the same as before (as obvious). So I plan to put this 'debatable' topic to the test. I am battling drinking problems and hope that a combination of abstinence and sobriety will yield me some results. After much reading, I think 1-3 months in, I will find clarity and report back to see if these lifestyle changes matter at all. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Who knows.

Anybody that has genuine insight, please post. I might do a weekly update. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to take pictures just yet, but will report what I see and feel.

It is a good try, as there are not much personal experiences on hair regrowth by reducing ejaculation.

But I think 3 month is not long enough. Just like any hair regrowth product, you're better give it 6 month to one year of time. Hairs grow slowly.

Thank you for the encouragement. Maybe it works for me, maybe it doesn't. I tried to be as honest and give all the variables of my lifestyle. I do believe and I do think (as evident) that genetics play a big factor, but that doesn't mean I cannot control the variables.

I don't know of abstinence for 6 months is even possible, but I figured a genuine reduction will help.

After the initial week, I still do not notice much. My facial hair and hair on my head grow like normal. I still find my hair to fall out at about 2-4 inches in length. Granted when I was 20 or so, the longest I had was 7 inches, no Tom Brady length, but would be a miracle if that happened. lolz

I personally think (no scientific proof) that sex abstinence can help hair regrowth.

You are right. Genetic is a big factor, but we still HAVE to do something to fight for the hair.

It is hard to abstinence, especially at the beginning. Just dont think and touch any porn, it helps.

It's been nearly a week and though I get occasional stresses from work, I have been clean this week.

I don't notice anything yet, but hope to update. I've begun taking Spirulina as a dietary supplement.

    Default One suggestion

I just wanted to drop by and give you a little advice. I want to make very clear that abstinence alone will not grow hair back. It will certainly slow down or stop any current hair loss. You need to battle decreased blood flow which comes with age and depending on your hair loss a tight scalp. Look up laxity exercises they use them for hair transplant surgery but I am absolutely convinced that this will also take the pressure off your scalp. That pressure is choking the tiny arteries that run to the top of your head. Don't do the laxity they suggest only do multiple locations around the head to stretch the entire scalp not just the back as needed for hair transplant. Also exercise is good but don't do heavy weight lifting it will increase DHT levels 15-30 minutes of cardio exercise at least 3 times per week should do. Make sure to get on a multi-vitamin with biotin and Zinc! Also complete abstinence is not needed but the less the better for sure and under no circumstance should you ejaculate back to back your body will steal directly from your hair to get the nutrients needed for sperm. Good luck let us know.

    You're all mental midgets.

    Get lives.

We'll all be bald, we might as well ****.

PS One of you clowns show me one year before/after pics following his abstinence treatment and if his hair looks any better, I'll go be a ****ing MONK.

LOL. Complete Jackass. Who said you had to go to all that maybe just cutting back a little is the key.

I wasn't able to go completely clean, and I haven't really seen much of any thing. I don't know, my hair seems to fall out at the same length, but I ain't seeing the really small ones. I haven't used much products like before as well. I'll try to keep to a very very low frequency, but that's just hard.
