I saw in the instruction booklet that it only works on the vertex (back of your scalp) but I've heard rogaine can work in other areas too. I just wonder though, if that's the case wouldn't Rogaine advertise this? Doesn't seem like something they'd want to keep secret. So should I apply it all over the scalp? I don't want to cause damage where I shouldn't, please help. Thanks
Does rogaine work all over the scalp? Need advice from veterans

it works all over, the reason why they dont say this, is beacues when they did there tests they only tested is on the crown -
I just don't understand this though, I've never heard of a company hiding the positive effects of a product. If it's because of the trial why not have another trial? I avoided rogaine for years because I thought it only worked half-way. If anything they would exaggerate how well it works. They would be losing potentially millions of dollars a year by saying it only works on the vertex and not the front. Can you imagine a company coming out with a pill that makes you lose weight and become more muscular but they tell people it only helps you lose weight? Do they hate money? I'm not saying you guys are lying, I just can't figure it outComment

they would have to spend a ton of money and go through all the phases of FDA approval again is they wanted to put that on the labelComment

Like the guys have said it does work all over the scalp. They just can't legally advertise it to do so as the crown was the FDA test area. People say it tends to be less effective on the hairline but I tend to think this is because the miniturisation process tends to be further along at the front in the usual receding mpb pattern and thus this hair is harder to salvage so to speak.Comment
