How to store proscar once it is cut?

I been cutting proscar into quaters, and just put them back in the plastic cover it comes in. I read this is bad because the pills can oxizadize. How do you guys store them?

There is a risk they'll lose potency once exposed to air, but I'm not aware of any time scale for this. I personally keep mine in an airtight container and I don't think there's anything more that can (or needs to) be done.

I would only ever cut one pill at a time. You gave no indication that you cut any more than that, but it's worth saying just in case.

I've been cutting 4 pills at a time since starting 6 months ago but after reading this I'm cutting 2 pills at a time.
