Vellus Hairs
If your using a product like minox or fin and vellus hairs appear should this be considered to be good or bad news.
One agrument is that vellus hairs are hairs that DHT has got to so they will not become terminal hairs. Others say that it should be taken as a good sign because they may become terminal hairs.
Anybody got an experience to share? Is there a method to persuade vellux hairs to become terminal hairs.

It's definitely not a bad thing. Only time will tell whether those hairs will thicken up and start actually making a difference, and there's not really anything else you can do to help them. I dare say the chances might be increased if you were to choose a higher strength of Minoxidil, if you aren't already on the highest.
The vellus hairs are a positive sign of response to the treatments. Even if you don't get what you hope for and see a noticeable improvement, the vellus hairs probably wouldn't have appeared if treatment wasn't going to offer some success with maintenance.
