    Fue

I have a relatively small donor area but am getting bald on top. I wear my hair very short, a number 1 back and sides and nothing really to top as there is not much there. I don't want more hair but rather would just like to avoid going completely bald on top. Is FUE an option for me? I will always continue to have number 1 sides and back and even top post FUE.

Can you explain what you mean by the part I quoted? Are you saying you just want a fairly light coverage of hair on top and aren't concerned with high density?

FUE is generally more suitable for smaller sessions, and as it sounds like you might be a 5 or 6 on the Norwood scale then it probably wouldn't be the best choice if you were looking to achieve full coverage at a high density. If you're hoping to just 'turn back the clock' a bit and cover some empty space at a modest density then FUE becomes a more realistic option.
