Should Proscar be halved or quartered?

Does the active ingredient get evenly spread around the tablet?

When cut, does the drug lose potency when exposed to open air?

it is generally recommended you only cut few tablets ahead before it's taken.

I bought Proscar online from a Dr Singh @ UK Finasteride.info on recommendation from a senior member of this forum.

Other than a commonly asked questions section I couldn't really see a lace to ask these 3 questions.
