    Default Hair Transplant?

I was personally wondering how many people here would ever have a hair transplant. It seems that although most of the population would never have one (including myself), most doctors only offer hair transplants, despite the fact that most people don't even want them. I found this quote which I thought was very interesting: "Of the 87 million people in the United States that suffer from hair loss, it is estimated that only 2-7% seek surgical or pharmacological treatment. The same is true internationally due to the general lack of effective medical options for this widespread condition". This precisely explains my stance on the current options out there. I want nothing more than to regrow hair (I would trade ANYTHING for a full head of hair), but the last thing that I want is permanent head scarring and marking or a lifelong commitment to taking a hormonal-altering drug like Propecia.
So my question is: how many people would actually get hair transplant, or have gotten one?
