Am I going bald? Need some Advice (27 Years Old)

    Yo,

I am 27 years old and I have noticed that some of the hair on the top of my head seems aot thinner then usual. I took some pictures to get a better idea of what I am dealing with....The flash seems to really accentuate my scalp but it is pretty worrying nonetheless! Is this the early stages of male pattern baldness? I hope not, if so I would like to treat it early! Just wanted to know what you guys think... should I be worried!? If I am, what can I do about it! Would it be wise to use rogaine?

I would say that it looks like the early stages of MPB. You should consult with a physician and consider starting Propecia to slow or stop further hair loss and perhaps regrow some hair. Overall your hair seems pretty thick so you are in a good position.

I agree with Winston. I would go to a physician. Your a great candidate for propecia. Your young and caught it early. I wasted a year and a half on rogaine and it didn't work for me. I have been on propecia for a year and it does work. Good luck!

bad news = you are balding.

good news = minox and fin are likely to grow you back to a full head of hair.

Are you receeding at the front?

You look nice man, don't worry too much. As many here said, just take some preventive actions, you're just at the starting point so you could do a lot to keep your hair.

yo, so I went to the physician and he basically prescribed monoxil but not propecia because he was concerned about the side effects it has in relation to me. Im a bit annoyed because from what I understand regaine is not as effective as propecia and if it works....?

mothernature: I don't think I am receding at the front. Its hard to tell but I haven't noticed anything as dramatic as the top
