17 years old and nervous about losing hair.
Hi, I'm 17 years old and for about 3 months I've been worrying about whether my hair is thinning or not. My parents say it isn't, but I'm not sure if they say that to comfort me or because it's true. Sometimes I barely worry about it at all, but there are times when I almost work myself into a panic attack, my self-confidence is bad enough as it is. The reason I'm worrying is because I've noticed a couple strands of hair laying around on my t-shirts, on my pillow, on my hands when i I shower and sometimes when I just run my hands through it I can lose a 2-3 strands. Most of the hairs are either short and curly ones or extremely thin scraggly hairs that I don't even know what they are. The thing is that I don't really have a reference point since I can't remember how by hair looked before and I can't remember ever noticing losing hair earlier, but I don't know if that is because I wasn't losing any hair or because I just didn't notice it.
It might be a bit hard to see on the pictures since I have quite long and wavy hair and it also a bit greasy here. Also, sorry about the lazy censoring, I don't like posting my picture on the internet. Responses are extremely appreciated, it is the uncertainty that is killing me.

Mate - chill - you are good ! The mind is a powerful tool - the more you think about you hair you will fixate on it. You are fine. Trot on and go play some nintendo ( this is not meant as an insult, but a joke before someone tries to pin than on me) you do not look like your losing your hair at all. Your more than likely forming an adult hairline - nothing to stress over. the more you stress the more hair you will loose.
Get a hair cut - thats half your issue in my opinion.
