    Default going bald?

    Hello.

I know it is not normal to have the kind of hairline I had when I was twelve (woman hairline kind of).
But I would still like to know if it looks like I am going bald. ie what level on the norwood scale

    Thank you in advance

That's a really bad and blurry picture man.

You have mild frontal and temporal recession but it's hard to judge due to the poor quality of the picture. Also, you didn't tell us your age. If it's like this at 21 for example, you are pretty much ****ed by the time you reach 30. If you're 35, you have hopes of reaching 45 with some good hair left on your head. As it is, I'd say NW 2.5/3.

I'd say its a 2. There definitely seem to be signs of frontal hair loss. However, judging the anatomy of your forehad you anyway have a pronounced frontal area. Your temples do not look that bad and I'd say with a good hair cut, good treatment regimen and a positive outlook you have a long way to go. Good luck

Thanks to both of you for your replies. Sorry for the bad picture

Im only 19 but it runs in the family so I'm not surprised at all.
My father, grandfather, brother and uncle (mothers side) all started losing their hair around my age.

Was going to try the bald look but not sure it would work on me. I already have kind of a "serious/angry" face and it feels like a bald head would help that look even more? Not sure though. If it gets worse I might try it.

Not going to try any meds or anything like that though just wanted to know what people thought. I don't think it is worth money, time or possible side effects because I don't see it as that big of a problem (enough to post here I guess). I think you can live a life without hair.

Mainly I'm just worried what women are going to think (is he bald already??) but I think this post shows that it has to do with self confidence rather than with your hair

You might want to try a very short haircut (buzz) before actually shaving your head. This might give you an idea of what you would look like. You never know it might be the new you.
