This patient had 2147 grafts extracted from the donor area and placed in the frontal region. please notice that the frontal area looks amazing, thick, and very natural. Most importantly, after the donor area was shaved, the scarring is extremely minimal, this is due to many reasons. First, the punches used to extract grafts are extremely small. This is actually more important for gray hair where typically punches need to be larger to encapsulate the entire graft and minimize transection. But as evidence from the before and after results, the graft quality looked very nice. Second, the extractions are done in a random fashion meaning nothing is done in straight lines, thus distracting the eye and not illustrating visible scarring. Further, growth factors are used that are applied in the donor area in the back of the scalp that promotes faster wound healing of the skin as well as preventing hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation of the skin. Further Dr. Sean Behnam performed all the extractions himself and closely monitors the pattern of the extraction and as well as the punch size. This is the most important in creating good results in both the donor and the recipient area. This is an art.
Dr. Sean Behnam performs all the extractions himself. Dr. Sean Behnam also performs all the site creations as well. Dr. Behnam performs only one client a day.
In my opinion, the meticulous attention to detail and personalized approach showcased by Dr. Sean Behnam is truly commendable. The results speak for themselves, with the frontal area displaying remarkable thickness and a natural appearance. The minimal scarring in the donor area is particularly impressive and underscores Dr. Behnam's expertise in using small punches and employing a random extraction pattern. geometry dash
