    Question/Recommendation

Hi, I suffer from hair loss from an early age whilst currently my hair is closer to Norwood 3 Vertex.
I'm applying minoxidil since the age of 18 with no great results. By the last year onwards (I was already Norwood 3 Vertex) I started putting Minoxidil twice a day and I seem to have stabilized my hair loss (for the last year or so).

However I'm (merely) 24, my hair in the front is (already) thin enough and the being Norwoood 3-4 implies I look *quite* older enough. My question is what hair transplantation options I have. I'm not much interested to the crown area, in fact it's the hairline area (espec the temples) that seem to need major work. Is there some kind of local work I can do to it that would require relatively few grafts (I'm a poor student)? Or should I wait before/if my hair loss is to become worse (say Norwood 5) before attempting restoration.... Thanks.

It's never a bad idea to wait. If you would struggle to afford a procedure then it's better to wait than to undergo a very small strip surgery that doesn't produce the type of result you're looking for, causing you to return for a second HT very soon.

Dr Fisher would be a good one to get a reccomendation about the issue. He was going to do 600 grafts for my frontal loss.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll wait then, hoping that even more efficient methods will be out in the meantime...
